MOD Form 680

(Only to submitted for use with the US-UK Defence Trade Cooperation Treaty)

F680 Application Reference: MODF      (this will be provided on submission to Export Policy and Assurance)

Release of Defence Information Overseas or Defence Equipment Overseas (MOD FORM 680). If exporters plan to sell, demonstrate, promote or export certain equipment, goods or information which is classified, they will need Ministry of Defence (MOD) clearance to do so. To obtain this clearance they should complete this form, the main purpose of which is to help prevent unauthorised disclosure of classified goods or equipment. This process also applies to MOD Agencies and other parts of the MOD. Getting clearance will also help speed up the assessment of any eventual export licence application made through the Export Control Organisation/Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Please note that by granting an F680, MOD consents in principle to the activities detailed in this application to take place. Where any of these activities involve the export or transfer of controlled technology to an overseas end user, this export or transfer will be subject to UK export controls and you will need to apply for an export licence in addition to obtaining clearance under this F680.

No information above RESTRICTED should be included in this application form.
