On October 10, there was a congressional meeting about if the government shutdown should stop. A Government shutdown is a temporary government stop in services when lawmakers cannot pass the necessary funding measures in time. The congress started the shutdown because the Republicans wanted to defund “ObamaCare”. This was the first government shutdown in 17 years. Many places like local parks, and NASA Television, etc. were closed due to the shutdown. The government shutdown is very important because all federal employees have had their pay suspended. This movie stars Barkad Abdi. Barkad Abdi moved from Somalia to Yemen at age 7 with his family because there was a war in Somalia. Then, he moved to Minneapolis/ St. Paul, where he learned English. Now Barkad Abdi is 27 is living in Hollywood and staring in the film. The main part of the story is the Somali pirates are trying to take over an American cargo ship and takes its crew hostage. I watched this movie and I am honest that this movie is one of the best because most of the actors are Somali and I am Somali.
