Students have several options to earn college credit while still in high school. Students can opt to take Dual Credit courses (classes built into their VPHS schedule that will earn them both high school and college credit upon successful completion of the course), AP courses (classes built into their VPHS schedule that will earn them high school credit and the opportunity to earn college credit through an AP exam), or Dual Enrollment (courses taken at STLCC either during the school day or after that will earn them high school and college credit upon successful completion of the class).DUAL CREDIT COURSE LISTAll college credit requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 for juniors and seniors; 3.0 for sophomores. Other requirements may apply. See class instructors or counselor for specific information.
