Notice of Nondiscrimination * Equal Opportunity Statement

It is the policy of the University of Missouri-Columbia to provide equal employment and educational opportunities for all people. 3. Ensure that promotion decisions are in agreement with principles of equal employment opportunity by imposing only valid requirements for promotional opportunities; and,

4. Ensure that all personnel actions such as compensation, benefits, transfers, layoffs, return from layoffs, company-sponsored training, education, tuition assistance, social and recreation programs will be administered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, or national origin.

The University of Missouri-Columbia will make reasonable accommodations to the religious beliefs and practices of students, employees and applicants for employment. Further, the University of Missouri-Columbia will make reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities whether they be employees, students, or applicants for employment.

The University of Missouri-Columbia complies with the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and with the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
