I. Book

Citation Format and Information

Lastname, Firstname. Title of Book. Place of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication.

Medium of Publication.

NOTE: Per new MLA formatting guidelines, book titles should be italicized, not underlined.

Day Month Year: pages. Medium of publication. Date of Access.

NOTE: If the article is online or on a database and has no page numbers, write “n. pag.” for “no pagination.”

If on a Database

NOTE: If the Journal Article comes from one of the online databases, the citation should

be as follows, and the Medium of Publication will be “Web”. In addition, if there are no page numbers, write “n.pag.”.
