Release info / Solution

Problem: Unable to uninstall Unite AM in a multi-server environment when having Unite Alarm Agent installed Solution: Corrected the uninstaller for Alarm Agent where the installer would have problem when custom accounts were used.

Unite Admin Release info / Solution

Problem: Livestream option is included in updated alerts (even when its set to not use) Solution: Added a check to the Update Action to verify that the stream is enabled

Problem: Browser crash if updating user name and password too rapidly Solution: The browser will not crash if trying to change password right after changing the user name.

Problem: Import user, the template file does not take password policy into account. Import always require minimum 8 characters Solution: File import now takes password policy in consideration

Unite Shared Assignment Release info / Solution

Problem: You cannot assign a personal device to someone else, but this is not clearly indicated Solution: Better map error handling if anyone tries to assign themselves to a personal device that belong to someone else. Problem: Mapping errors are not easily found Solution: Now the mapping errors are visible in the configuration tab and the mapping error log file includes the "display names" of the entities.

Problem: Too large responses are sent to Rauland Borg Solution: Mapping errors and skipped assignment events are reported with numbers instead of a (sometimes huge) list. (The lists are still put into Mapping.txt and ExternalService.txt)

Problem: Permanent skip is not working in locations and teams mapping dialogs Solution: All mapping views will now load all external entities and filter out the mapped ones on the client side and also update the remote name of the mapped entities.

MSC category and users can now be synchronized from Unite CM (version 5.8.1 or later). MSC is handled as a generic messaging device in Unite Admin.

Release info / Solution

Problem: Unite assign, Staff assignment: Cannot remove phone from escalation box

Solution: Fixes the issue where static event overrides causes assignments in Staff Assignment to be impossible to remove.

Problem: Unite View Client displaying "Unite Messaging Suite is not responding"

Solution: Ports are now managed even if 'Do not modify' is chosen for the certificate if a valid certificate is found.

Problem: Unite Admin - User import is incomplete if a name is missing

Solution: All users with first name and last name will be imported even if some users in the file is incomplete

Problem: Unite Admin - CSV import doesn't support ???

Solution: Corrected encoding in CSV import

Problem: Unite Admin - User import with same First name and Last name

Solution: A user is no longer unique based on first name, last name, middle name and initials. Messaging number and User name must be unique.

Problem: Unite AM Datasheet regarding Windows 7

Solution: Windows 7 and 8 support removed for Unite Admin server. Unite Admin Desktop is the application to use on this platform.

Limitations and known issues

Location short description is only distributed to modules when the integration is saved. To apply changes after system has been set up, save the integration location settings from the Integrations node in Unite Admin.

If a unit is connected to several integrations, e.g. Nurse Call and Patient Monitoring, shift activation fails if one of the integrations modules is not responding, or cannot handle the sent assignments. If the second integrations module fails, the first module will be updated according to the assignment settings in the Unite Assign application. (CA-619)

Assistance calls in the GE Carescape integration (MMG) will not go to anyone if only one person is assigned on the general assignment level, i.e. in this type of integration, always assign the assistance calls or add at least one level of escalation. (UX-1318)

It will not be possible to access Duty Assignment in the MMG after disconnecting Unite Application Manager. This can be fixed by pressing synchronize in the Action Configuration application on the MMG. (UX-1420)

If configuring several units in Staff Assignment, the browser will hang after changing unit and making changes in assignments for 7-10 times. (UX-1734)

Synchronization of users and groups from Unite Connectivity Manager fail if the databases are in an inconsistent state. The feedback for reason behind failure is poor and there are no way to check status of Unite CM databases. (UX-3058)

It is not possible to synchronize users from Unite CM when there are categories with ??? in the name (UX-4740, UCM-2865)

Fixed devices cannot be included in messaging groups (UX-4858)

Known bugs

Unclear error indication if installing on Windows Server 2012 without the Web Server Role (UX-3068)

Unite View clients cannot reach the View Server after the AM has been upgraded (EV-1496)

Unite Admin

It is not possible to modify the configuration in a way that affects any modules if the module in question is not responding. E.g. if a device is added to a user while Unite CM is not reachable that action will fail. There will be a long delay until the error is indicated in the user interface. (UX-1559)

The templates for the different systems supported by Cardiomax do not contain CSIM or other system specific parameters. This means that in parallel to select the correct template, the correct parameters (e.g. type of system) must be set manually in the Cardiomax module (UX-1094)

Unite Admin tries to write groups to Unite CM that has not the group functionality (Unite CM older than 4.30). The module will report an error if this happens. (UX-1934) o Comment: Upgrade Unite CM to latest version

A cold started server sometimes displays a timeout message when loading the application user interface (UX-2542) o Comment: The error resolves after some time. Sometimes the browser needs to be refreshed in order to resolve the error

Event property "Externally cleared" should be selected by default for Telligence (UX2612)
