Now what? ?It’s important to stay focused on the fundamentals. Diane will review the main differences between ICD-9 and ICD-10 such as laterality and specificity and explain the new concepts in ICD-10 including 7th characters, X placeholders and excludes notes.? She will walk us through these differences and concepts so we have a solid base of understanding of ICD-10. Diane will also offer suggestions for keeping our skills up over the next year.ICD-10: Provider DocumentationChristine Pfeifer, MHA, CPC – himagine solutions, Inc.
