To whom it may concern, - Griffith College Dublin

To whom it may concern,

My name is Conor Loughran and I work with the Design Technology Development Unit for the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. You may recall me contacting you regarding employment opportunities in March of this year for your final year students of Computer Science. I'd like to thank you for distributing my email to the students then as we had an incredible number to our interviews in Dublin from graduates of many Universities in Ireland. These graduates have arrived with us in the UAE throughout the summer and begun their employment with us.

Within the last week more positions have arisen for the Ministry and we are again running a similar interview campaign in Dublin. Therefore we are currently arranging the interviews to go ahead in early October for graduates of:

Computer Science/Computing Physical Education or any sports related degree and Fully qualified Teachers of PE Health Sciences or Nursing Degrees Performing Arts Fully qualified Teachers (Music, Drama, Dance) Fully qualified Primary School Teachers/Early School Years.

Successful candidates who pass the interview process and do not have a full teaching qualification will partake in a Teacher Training Programme in our training centre in Ajman or Sharjah. Upon completion they will graduate as fully qualified teachers of Computer Science and allocated to our schools in the UAE.

Given the recent graduates are degree holders of the discipline they will be teaching, they will already be highly capable in regard to the subject content. Therefore the training will be primarily Pedagogy based. When the training is completed the Trainee teachers will then be dispersed to the public schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras AlKhaimah, Al Ain and Fujairah to begin teaching with tutor support from the Teacher Training Team.

Candidates will begin being paid on the day of arrival in the United Arab Emirates and throughout their two year contract on a very generous salary. Salary offers can be seen on the portal link below. (Minimum 44000+per year tax free on todays exchange rate) Medical insurance is included along with flights, 9 days hotel accommodation upon arrival and a contract completion gratuity bonus.

I realise that given your graduates have already departed your Campus and many have already found employment, it is challenging to make contact with all of them once again. If you have no way of forwarding this email to the class of 2017 and all previous years, I would highly appreciate it if you could share contact details of a student reps, social media pages or a recruitment department which may be useful in making contact with them. This is a great opportunity for the graduates to gain access to the education field while experiencing a new culture in the United Arab Emirates.

Candidates who are interested can read the job description and upload their CV's via this portal.: When completing the section "where did you hear about us", if they select "other" and type their full university name we will then have a database of graduate applications from Griffith.

Upon successful screening of CV's the applicants will receive an email invitation detailing the time, date and location of their interview. Applications for these interviews will close by the 26th of September as paperwork must be completed here before travelling to Dublin for the interviews. Please note that positions are for an immediate start.

We are very eager to build relationships directly between Universities in Ireland and the Ministry of Education in the UAE in order to directly interview and hire your graduates on your campus in future. If you have any contact details of people who may be able to help build these relationships or if you want to share this email with them it would be greatly appreciated.
