10 The Bishop’s 17th Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner: The Most Reverend Kevin J. Farrell invites you to attend The Bishop’s 17th Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner: “The Splendor of the Gospel of Life,” benefiting the Catholic Pro-Life Committee, in the Trinity Ballroom of the Hilton Anatole Dallas, 2201 Stemmons Freeway. The evening begins with a Silent Auction at 5:00 p.m. and a seated banquet at 6:30 p.m., featuring a keynote speech by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston and Chair of the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities. Special guest Abby Johnson, former director of Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas, will share her moving testimony. This event raises critical funds for local pro-life education and activities, and life-saving services for babies and mothers! Reservation price is $75 for an individual seat, $750 for a table of ten, and $60 for a student or clergy ticket. Ticket price includes parking. Premium tables with private reception tickets are available for $1,000 and up. 11 Divine Mercy Pilgrimage: The intention of this celebration is for the protection of the unborn and for the end of abortion. The Divine Mercy Pilgrimage begins at 3:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 231 N Marsalis Ave, Dallas, and ends at St. James Catholic Church, 1002 E Saner Ave. where Holy Mass will be celebrated at 5:45 p.m. Please leave your cars at St. James as transportation will be provided from there to Blessed Sacrament. Transportation begins at 1:30 p.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament starts at 2:00 p.m. at St. James. All are invited to a reception immediately following Mass. 14-18 “Hope for Life” 2010 National Conference: Operation Outcry, a ministry of The Justice Foundation, is pleased to invite you to their second Hope for Life Conference April 15th through 18th in Dallas, Texas. 6 59th Annual National Day of Prayer: This year’s theme is “Prayer…For Such a Time As This”. Come as early as 5:00 p.m. Latin Masses at 8:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 a.m. Saturday. Adoration ends just before the 7:00 a.m. Saturday Mass. These prayer vigils will be held every First Friday. The Cloistered Carmelites will also be praying all night. You may leave your personal prayer requests with them. There will be food and drink available in the evening.
