This is a bit of a funny phoneme. There are only 4 words that have IE making the long I sound at the end (pie, tie, die, lie) ? the first two are included in this pack.

Otherwise, the IE phoneme is created when you add an ending to a `y' word (fly-flies, cry-cried, etc). So that is how I have made these flashcards ? to highlight the spelling rule when you have a `y saying I' word.
