We are currently looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join the Canadian Equities Team, preferably located in our Winnipeg office of I.G. Investment Management, Ltd ("IGIM"). IGIM is the professional money management subsidiary of Investors Group Inc., a Canadian leader in providing personal financial planning services to more than a million Canadian clients. IGIM has five key global investment operations with offices in Dublin, Hong Kong, Montreal, Toronto, and the corporate head office in Winnipeg. The organization is comprised of a team of investment professionals managing more than $60 billion in assets.

This role is focused on the Canadian Small/Mid Cap universe. The primary responsibility is to provide analytical support to select Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities include:

Performing company analyses (operating metrics, valuation, capital structures, and corporate governance principles, and how they compare across industry participants) with associated security specific recommendations

Communicating investment ideas and recommendations to other team members Interacting with other industry experts and management teams Participating in related projects and internal initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

Relevant analytical experience with a minimum of 4 years in an investment or financial analyst role University undergraduate degree with preference given to those with post graduate degree and or CFA designation

(or equivalent) High level of initiative Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to work both independently and within a team-based environment Proven project management skills Proficiency in Bloomberg and PC software such as Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint is desired
