Admission and Registration Information for Dual Enrollment Students Summer 2021 & Fall 2021 (Updated 3/31/2021)
Summer and Fall Enrollment:
The summer session schedule has been adjusted for 2021. Summer I will now start on June 1st and summer II will start on July 12th. All summer courses will be delivered online. The fall semester will occur as scheduled, with campus based, high school based and online courses available. Note that the registration timeline has been adjusted for summer and fall. Please see the dual enrollment admission and registration timeline for more details. Dates and other information are subject to change based on evolving circumstances.
College Admissions Application:
The $25 admissions application fee has been waived indefinitely. Students should apply via the regular online admissions application, however, the processing time may now take up to two weeks due to logistical constraints.
Assessment and Placement for College Courses:
The college is currently unable to administer the ACCUPLACER or ALEKS assessment testing, therefore will allow high school students to enroll in college courses without an assessment score on record for summer sessions I and II as well as the fall semester. Note that Montgomery College also continues to accept other methods for determining course placement, including the SAT, ACT, AP and previous high school or college coursework.
Students with no assessment or placement scores on record will be eligible to enroll as follows:
Criteria for Rising High School Juniors and Seniors:
? Have at least a 2.75 unweighted HS GPA. ? Meet all other requirements and deadlines for Dual Enrollment.
