left0Enrolling in an Installment Payment PlanYou can enroll in an Installment Payment Plan through the Penn State Student Account Dashboard. The optional Installment Payment Plan distributes the bill payment across the first four months of the fall and spring semesters. Due to the shorter length of the summer session, the installment payment plan for summer is three monthly installments. There is a $45 fee when signing up for the installment payment plan.Note: You cannot enroll in an Installment Payment Plan if you have a balance due for any prior semester.Navigating to Enroll in an Installment Payment PlanFrom the Student Home Base, select the My Finances button.Figure 1: Student Home Base PageOn the My Account Page, select the Manage My Account/Make a Payment button.Figure 2: Student Home Base - My Account Page The Penn State Student Account Dashboard overview page appears. Select Payment Plans on the left side menu. After carefully reading the disclosure, select the Accept button to consent to receive your payment authorization electronically. Once you have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of the agreement, select the I agree to the terms & conditions checkbox and then the Continue button.Figure 8: Student Account Dashboard - Payment Plans – Terms and ConditionsThe Payment Plan Enrollment page will display with the Payment due at the time of enrollment. Note: Auto pay is required. The payment method you select will also be used for auto pay. Once you have read and fully understand the Auto pay terms and conditions, select the I agree to the terms & conditions checkbox.Figure 12: Student Account Dashboard – Payment Plans – Payment Method – Credit Card Terms and ConditionsYou also have the option to pay with an electronic check as your payment method. You will be prompted to enter your bank account information. If you would like to make this a saved payment option that you can use again, enter a familiar name in the Bank account nickname field. Note: If you have setup a saved payment previously, it will appear in the list as an option. Once you have read and fully understand the Auto pay terms and conditions, select the I agree to the terms & conditions checkbox.
