1. Develop a vocabulary list of new and important words for your book.

Design a way to present your words and their definitions to the class.

2. Construct an organizer to explain the relationship of the Earth, moon and sun.

3. Write a poem or song about your book. Use information from the book in your poem or song. Record your poem or song on a tape for the class.

4. Create a concept map about the Earth or the moon or the sun. Use the organizer provided.

5. Illustrate a picture about the relationship of the Earth, moon and sun and title your picture.

6. Complete the experiment on pages 14 and 15. Write up your results.

7. Explain the effect of the sun on the Earth’s seasons and or weather. Plan a way to present this information to the class.
