FMCA is a membership organization made up of people just like you. It serves as an information bureau for motorhome owners and furnishes services you can't get anywhere else. If you own a qualifying motorhome you are eligible to apply for membership. Dues and initiation fees are only $45 for the first year and $35 per year thereafter.

Family Motor Coaching Magazine Every member of FMCA receives a subscription to the association's official monthly publication, Family Motor Coaching magazine. FMC brings you motorhome maintenance and repair information, motorhome livability reviews, travel articles, RV industry and FMCA news, and other information intended to enhance readers' enjoyment of the motorhome lifestyle. Abundant display and classified advertising helps to keep readers up-to-date on the latest products available in the RV marketplace.

FREE Membership Directory The FMCA Membership Directory, combined with the January issue of Family Motor Coaching magazine, is a complete guide to the association. This directory is one of the most useful and popular benefits of membership. It includes a roster of FMCA members designed to help members identify each other in their travels, as well as a listing of members volunteering emergency assistance to other members who experience trouble on the road, a directory of sanitary disposals, and a variety of other valuable information.

Educational Programs FMCA members have the opportunity to participate in important RV-related education programs at the international

conventions and some area rallies. This year's curriculum includes: the RV Safe Driving Course, the Coach Weight and Tire Safety program, the Fire and Life Safety program, and CPR training.

Travel Services

Mail Forwarding If you have a heavy travel schedule and have difficulty receiving your mail along the way, let your association help with its mail forwarding service.

Free Trip Routing Service ? U.S., Canada & Mexico Trip routing service provides maps to help you reach your destination on time, traveling by your choice of most-direct or most-scenic route.

Emergency Road Service - U.S. & Canada FMCA's Emergency Road Service and Technical Referral Plan is offered to FMCA members at a group rate. This comprehensive, 24-hour-a-day roadside assistance program is supported by chassis and RV technicians and provides access to more than 40,000 contracted service providers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Emergency Medical Evacuation Program FMCA members are covered under the MEDEX PLUS program that is designed to help manage the complexities and expenses of out-of-area medical and travel emergencies.

Long-Distance Calling Card This card, available to members through an arrangement with the American Telecom Network (ATN) and PowerNet Global (PNG), offers a low per-minute

rate 24 hours per day for calls anywhere in the Continental U.S. (Calls made from pay phones will be assessed a fee to cover FCC-mandated payments to pay phone providers.)

Internet Access ? U.S. Only The American Telecom Network (ATN) and PowerNet Global (PNG) offer FMCA members their Internet service at a low monthly fee.

Stoppin' Spot Fellowship FMCA's annual Membership Directory features a section called "Stoppin' Spots," which lists members who have volunteered their home facilities to fellow members for a 24-hour emergency stop. Some of these volunteers have also offered to help find mechanical assistance or have offered their homes as stop-over spots on a 24-hour friendship visit basis.

Emergency Driver Availability FMCA members who encounter any type of emergency that prohibits them from driving their coach while away from home may be assisted by a member volunteer "pinch-hit driver" who will transport the motorhome to the desired destination, at the owner's expense.

Financial Services

Credit Card Program ? U.S. Only The U.S. Bank VISA card program offered to FMCA members features high lines of credit, cash back or other great rewards, an array of special services, and no annual fee.

Motorhome Financing ? U.S. Only FMCA has chosen GE Consumer Finance, one of America's largest RV lenders, to provide a nationwide motorhome finance program tailored especially to FMCA members.

Insurance

Free Accidental Death Coverage Accidental death insurance coverage is automatically extended to all FMCA family members.

FMCA assumes no liability for damages, either direct or consequential, to any person or organization as a result of the use of services offered to members.

Motorhome Insurance ? U.S. Only FMCA members can participate in a motorhome insurance program that offers broad coverages, competitive premiums, and RV-specialized claims handling.

TravMed Abroad Overseas Travel Insurance Members may purchase TravMed Abroad, a comprehensive travel medical insurance program for residents of the U.S. who are traveling internationally and incur a sudden illness or injury. A similar program is available for non-U.S. residents.

Activities

International Conventions Twice a year, FMCA members from across North America and abroad gather to view exhibits of motorhomes and the latest in accessories and components, attend valuable seminars, enjoy entertainment, meet old friends and make new ones.

FMCA's Chapters ? U.S. & Canada Only Members are encouraged to join, visit, and participate in the activities of the organized chapters of FMCA. Approximately 500 chapters provide year-round rallies for fun, fellowship, and entertainment.

Area Rallies FMCA has nine geographical areas and one international area. In addition to FMCA's international conventions, members can attend rallies hosted by FMCA's areas throughout the year. Join the fun and fellowship of these area rallies and take part in their seminars, entertainment, and exhibits.

Youth Activities Age-specific activities are planned and scheduled for children who attend FMCA's international conventions with their parents, grandparents, or guardians.

Discounts

FMCA has an expanding program of discounts that include savings at some

campgrounds across the country, on motorhome components and accessories, and on car rentals. Many of these discounts are listed in the annual FMCA Membership Directory; others appear in the magazine or are announced through membership mailings. Among the discount programs are the following:

Flying J Real Value Card Program New FMCA members are sent Flying J Real Value Cards. The holder receives a discount of 1 cent per gallon off gas or diesel fuel and 5 cents per gallon off propane at any Flying J Travel Plaza or Fuel Stop location when the card is presented at the time of sale.

Passport America A special rate is offered to FMCA members who purchase a membership in the campground discount club Passport America. As a Passport America cardholder, members can stay at nearly 1,500 campgrounds across the United States, Canada, and Mexico and save 50 percent off the regular price.

Additional Benefits

Member Identification Emblems Each member family is issued a pair of numbered identification emblems for attaching to the front and rear of their motorhome. These allow FMCA members to recognize each other on the highway, in addition to letting others know that the coach occupants are abiding by the association's Code of Ethics.

Monitronics Monitoring Systems & Services FMCA has partnered with Monitronics to provide home security monitoring systems and monitoring services to members at a discount.

Anti-Theft Program FMCA and Dempsey & Siders Insurance Agency have joined together in providing

FMCA's anti-theft benefit. New members are furnished "FMCA Protected" decals for attachment to their motorhomes in order to discourage break-ins and motorhome theft. A $2,500 reward will be paid to any individual who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons burglarizing an FMCA member's motorhome.

FREE Classified Advertising Family Motor Coaching magazine features the Classifieds, an exclusive classified listing of motor coaches and coach equipment. Rates are economical, and as a member, you may place a FREE 20-word classified ad in one issue per calendar year.

Member "Business" Cards Use these specially priced cards to exchange mailing addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses with people you meet while traveling, and at the same time, identify yourself as a member of the greatest motorhome owners organization in the world!

Identity Theft Protection Plan For a low monthly fee, FMCA members can purchase Privacy Matters, one of the most comprehensive identity theft protection plans available.

Lost Key Return Program Key tags with the FMCA logo are available for purchase through Kiley Mold Company; an order form appears in FMC magazine. Members should call the FMCA National Office to identify lost keys; return postage is guaranteed by FMCA.

a self-propelled, completely self-contained vehicle that contains

all the conveniences of a home, including cooking, sleeping,
