Movie Permission Slip

Movie Permission Slip

There are a few films that I plan to use second semester that tie into the US History curriculum.

The movies are:

Depression – Cinderella Man (2005) (PG-13 for intense boxing violence and some language)

World War II - Saving Private Ryan (1998) (R for prolonged realistic graphic sequences of war violence and language)

Cold War – Thirteen Days (2000) (PG-13 for brief strong language)

Civil Rights – Mississippi Burning (1988) (R for adult language, profanity and adult situations)

Vietnam – Platoon (1986) (R for adult language, adult situations and graphic violence)

Space Program – The Right Stuff (1983) (PG)

____ My son/daughter has permission to watch all six films.

____ My son/daughter can only watch Cinderella Man, Saving Private Ryan, Thirteen Days, Mississippi Burning, Platoon, or The Right Stuff. (circle)

____ My son/daughter does not have permission to see any of these films and will be given an alternate assignment.
