Arcusa is the Director of Engineering for the Presidential & Executive (PE) Airlift Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Ms. Arcusa is the primary technical advisor to the PE Program Executive Officer (PEO) and is responsible for all technical aspects of the current Presidential and Executive airlift fleet. She is also responsible for the development and fielding of the Air Force One (VC-25A) replacement in support of the Presidential Airlift Mission.Previously, Ms. Arcusa was the Chief Technology Officer, Rapid Sustainment Office, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, where she was responsible for technical guidance and rapid delivery of sustainment technologies, including Condition Based Maintenance Plus, Agile Manufacturing, Automation and Robotics, Augmented/Virtual Reality, and others that increase readiness or reduce sustainment costs. She led a multi-disciplined engineering team, identifying new and emerging technologies for Air Force applications, and scaling usage across the enterprise. Ms. Arcusa began her career as a Propulsion Integration engineer, managing the thrust reversers and engine installation for the C-17 Globemaster II. She was then assigned to the F-22 Raptor program office as the lead Life Support Systems engineer, where she investigated hypoxia and physiological events. During her assignment to the F-22, she earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, specializing in Design of Experiments from the University of Dayton, and also completed Air Command and Staff College via correspondence. Ms. Arcusa was subsequently selected as the Utilities and Subsystems Lead Engineer for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office, where she delivered fuel tank inerting, longer-lasting tires, fiber-optic quality, and aerial refueling clearances for the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. After a six-month appointment to the F-15 Physiological Event Tiger Team as the Chief Engineer, Ms. Arcusa was assigned to the KC-46 Pegasus program office, to lead the Flight Systems engineering team to a successful Milestone C decision. Prior to being reassigned to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office as the Chief Flight Systems Engineer, she completed Air War College via correspondence.
