Education 1980 Began to learn guitar

Guitar Lessons Began to teach guitar in 1986. Since then my guitar school has gone from strength to strength. I presently have 47 pupils having regular guitar and ukulele lessons, with ages ranging from 5 to 75. For more information on my lessons visit my website

Teaching I have been teaching guitar and ukulele for Devon Adult and Community Learning, Petroc College, and was also a part of the Braunton College Extended schools in September 2004. Woolacombe School January 2006 and Ilfracombe Infants and Junior Schools since May 2007, Chelfham Mill School 2008, Filleigh and Chittlehampton schools since September 2011. Chulmleigh School since September 2012. Bratton Fleming School since September 2014. I created the course plans and lesson plans and continue to teach the lessons with great success.

Present Band The Backtrackers are a fully professional band playing all over the U.K. The band was started in December 2001. We cover popular songs from the 60s to the present chart at weddings, parties, functions, hotels and clubs etc. For more information on the band visit our website

Solo I have started work as a solo performer, performing similar songs to The Bactrackers, and also my own songs. I have performed live on BBC Radio Devon and the Voice FM. I also have a set of nursery songs for children’s events and pre-schools

Music Shop Between the years of 1985 and 1992 I was the proprietor of a record, C.D. and musical instrument shop in Ilfracombe. I had part time staff. I did all the ordering of stock. During this time I learned a lot about different instruments, including at least one tune on nearly every type of instrument, this enabled me to demonstrate them.

Other Bands Between 1980 and 2007 I have played in 6 different rock bands.

Cajon Drum Cajon drumming lessons are the latest addition to what I have to offer.
