StanNet Access Information Sheet
[Pages:4]StanNet Access Information Sheet
In order to access the Stantec network, you will first need to register for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Several authentication methods are available: ? Mobile app: the Microsoft Azure Authenticator app prompts you to approve your sign in. The
app is available for Apple, Android, and Windows devices. This is the recommended authentication method. ? Phone call: the system calls you on your company-issued or personal phone (cell phone or landline) and you press the pound key # on the phone to authenticate. ? Text message: the system sends you a text message on your company-issued or personal cell phone with an authentication code that you type in. ? Oath token: used in conjunction with the mobile app to allow you to type in an authentication code rather than approving via a prompt in the app; this option allows you to use the app to authenticate without having an internet connection.
Before you begin, determine which method you want to use and have the device you'll be using handy as you'll need it to complete the registration.
Note that after you have registered for MFA, you can come back later and change your authentication method.
Go to the MFA registration page at .
On the Stantec MFA Registration screen, enter "corp" as the Domain and enter the network (Windows) username and password you were provided by the IT Service Center. Click Logon and if login is successful, you will be asked to immediately change your password.
