MY COMMUNITY FCU OPENS NEW BRANCH INSIDE MIDLAND'S NEW HEB

Midland, TX ? My Community Federal Credit Union continues to serve the Midland/Odessa communities by expanding their reach with a new location. The 6th branch is located inside of the new Midland HEB at Loop 250 and Andrews Hwy. This branch offers the convenience of one being able to handle personal finance matters and grocery shopping all with one stop. The branch is full-service, offering everything from opening an account, depositing/withdrawing money, applying for an auto or personal loan or credit card, signing up for online & mobile banking, or inquiring about investment opportunities and mortgage loans. This location opened doors on February 26th, along with HEB's grand opening. Hours are Mon-Fri 10:00 am ? 7:00 pm and Sat 9:00 am ? 2:00 pm.

MCFCU's Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held on March 16, 2016 to celebrate this location. CEO & President, Donna Neal, will briefly showcase the products and services as well as the financial literacy programs and community outreach that My Community offers the Permian Basin. The credit union is a community-chartered organization; anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Midland or Ector County is able to become a member of My Community. It is as simple as depositing $5 into a share account to obtain membership. Membership includes the best in service and products including direct deposits, credit cards, competitive rates for mortgage, vehicle and personal loans and mobile banking. Ms. Neal states, "My Community's passion is in making every member and future members' story a financial success story."

My Community supports Midland/Odessa by committing to more than 1,000 volunteer hours with various organizations in our community as well as sponsoring multiple organizations that advocate financial literacy, and community growth/health. In 2015, My Community donated over $100,000 to these organizations. The commitment to financial literacy is a focus for 2016 with programs like the CU4 Reality Fair that they recently hosted at Permian High School.
