Employee Password Options in Employee Self Service

If any employee forgets his/her Employee Self Service password he/she can:

Retrieve his/her a Password Hint to help them remember, or Generate a Temporary password to log into ESS

IMPORTANT: By default, the Password Hint email will be sent to the employee's NISD Gmail account (if applicable).

For those employees without a NISD Gmail account, be sure that a VALID email address is on file in ESS. You can update this information in the PERSONAL INFORMATION section in ESS.

Please Note: Access to personal email addresses such as Yahoo, and Hotmail is blocked on Northside computers.

Retrieving Your Password Hint in ESS

STEP 1. Enter the following web address to access the Employee Self Service home page:



STEP 2. From the Employee Self Service home page, click Log In.

STEP 3. Next, click the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD link.

STEP 4. On the next screen, enter your employee number (without the "e" and leading zeroes "0") in the USERNAME field.
