Project Description: You will be making a family tree diagram online using a current Web 2.0 application, and then using this diagram to help you compose in Spanish about your family. The final product will be the combination of the final draft of your family tree with your final composition attached.

Family Tree:

Create a free account at the above website, and begin constructing your family tree. You must include the following information on your tree:

• At least 3 generations – Grandparents (both sides), parents and their siblings; you and your siblings and cousins

• Full names of relatives

• Birthdays and Dates of deaths (if applicable)

• Their genders

As you add relatives, the web application will create the links to new relatives.

Once you have added all the relatives you need and all your information has been included. Print a copy of your family tree and proceed to the composition part of your project.

Composition:

In your composition you will have to include the following information –

A. Introduction – A brief paragraph describing your family (big, small, how many members, etc.).

B. Family Relationships from the top of the tree to the bottom (grandparents ( grandchildren).

C. Relative Info – You must include their name, age, and where they live for each living relative.

D. Special Info – Pick 5 relatives in your family to describe in the following ways:

a. Profession

b. Origin (where from)

c. Description (physical/personality)
