The Executive Director, Enrollment and Student Life provides leadership to a number of important academic portfolios including domestic student admissions, accessibility, advising, financial and language services, employment/career services, as well as enrollment and retention. In this role, you are responsible for the overall student experience at MITT. Leading the development and creation of a comprehensive `Student Experience Plan', this newly created position will determine the vision and define "what is excellence" when it comes to student life at the Institute.

The Executive Director will establish new services as well as enhance and streamline existing ones to meet the needs of all clientele; from prospective students through to alumni. You will partner with internal stakeholders to map and integrate different service channels and will work collaboratively to enrich and reform MITT's student information system. You will also have the opportunity to develop and execute on the institutes' strategic enrollment, retention and communication policies that bring awareness to all of MITTs secondary, post-secondary, post-graduate and apprenticeship programs. This role reports to the Vice President, Academic and is a key member of the Academic Council.

The Executive Director, Enrollment and Student life will establish and maintain a diverse network across Manitoba and nationally, including with external government and non-governmental agencies, school divisions, boards, recruitment committees and the Institutes' alumni to support enrollment and retention. International recruitment and increasing enrollment in the secondary school program "School of Choice" remain key priorities for MITT.

As the successful candidate, you will showcase strong analytical, organizational and collaborative skills and apply these abilities in reviewing all services and strategic business units to ensure MITT provides the right balance of services to its students. You will bring expertise from previous administrative experience in the education sector complemented by a relevant degree in education, business, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Experience with compliance, business analytics and IS/IT is an asset. You will also be a dynamic and engaged leader with a "role up your sleeves" attitude, and an exemplary communicator/negotiator.
