Our 2019 Chapter Application process is currently open! All members In Good Standing are invited to be involved in new chapter formation. Please visit our website for more information on required thresholds, documentation, and deadlines. All applications will be reviewed by the VP of Chapter Relations and the Chapter Committee before making recommendations to the TXAEYC Board of Directors.

The WOYC Committee is busy preparing suggested themes and activities to make your week celebrating early childhood a

success. T-Shirt Pre-Orders are now available for Adult Sizes (Small - 4X). Centers, schools,

or individuals who place orders by February 15 will receive shirts in March.

Frog Street CDA Training Partnership Program

TXAEYC is excited to announce the CDA Training Partnership Program with Frogstreet and CCEI! The partnership was formed to help you complete the 120 hours of coursework and prepare the portfolio needed for the CDA credential!

Program Eligibility Requirements Include : Employed by an early childhood program that has a contract to serve subsidized children and:

With funding provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, TXAEYC is partnering with Teaching Strategies to offer a valid and reliable, developmentally appropriate assessment system to eligible providers. An ongoing, observation-based assessment system,GOLD? can be used to assess the development and learning of children from birth through third grade.

Assessment Program Provider Eligibility Requirements:

participant or has submitted a Letter of Interest or is part of a TEA High-Quality PreKindergarten grant partnership Must be at least 18 years old

Become a Child Care Health Consultant

Healthy Child Care Texas is a state initiative dedicated to promoting optimal health, safety, nutrition, and development for children in out-ofhome child care programs while training Child Care Health Consultants and offering other means of support. A Child Care Health Consultant is a trained professional who offers consultation, training, and technical assistance to child care centers and home-based programs to support and promote the health and safety of children, families, and child care providers. Applicants to the Child Care Health Consultant program must have a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Health Services with experience working with children and families.
