We offer civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as construction services, project management and construction management. Founded in 1988, AES restructured as a SDVOSB in 2002. Today AES has successfully completed hundreds of projects for federal entities. AES is knowledgeable and compliant with government design criteria including VA, NCA, DoD, USACE and UFC standards and specifications, and we are proud to have several team members who have taken an active role in standards development. AES has a firm commitment to use today’s technology to provide services and project designs for our valued clients. We have in-house the latest versions of Revit for BIM modeling, AutoCAD and more for engineering and architectural services.

GSA Schedule AES holds GSA Contract #GS23F0250N, for Professional Engineering and Construction Management Services. Under this schedule, AES has provided a variety of engineering services for GSA contracts since 2003. AES has recently completed engineering contracts including construction management services for VA hospitals in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma and San Juan, Puerto Rico. AES completed of a 5-yr GSA BPA for Nationwide Construction Management Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of CFM. Through this BPA, we have successfully performed multiple task orders at the VA in Puerto Rico, including ongoing support of all construction activities and constructability reviews.

Military Contracts AES currently holds a 5-yr IDIQ with the Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, to provide architect and engineering services for Military Projects. Eight task orders are underway, for design services for Army and Air Force bases throughout the state of Texas. AES previously performed 29 engineering task orders for a 5 year IDIQ contract with the USACE Omaha District, and another with the Mid East District. These included the design of temporary and semi-permanent contingent facilities for all military forces; design of the base realignment of infrastructure at Buckley AFB; a development plan for a $15 million building complex at Ft. Carson; and Planning and Design Charrettes for Minot Air Force Base in ND.

Department of Veterans Affairs AES has been the prime contractor for hundreds of VA hospital projects, some with design fees reaching over $3 million. The projects range from full service architectural, engineering and design for historical landmark buildings to renovations for hospital and laboratory expansions. Other projects have included electrical and OI&T upgrades; legionella corrections; chilled water systems; and design of new facilities. AES is nearing completion for the design of the new Pikes Peak National VA Cemetery near Colorado Springs, CO. We are also providing construction management services for VA medical campuses and cemeteries nationwide.

OLM

OLMs are supplies and/or services acquired in direct support of an individual task or delivery order placed against a Schedule contract or BPA. OLM pricing is not established at the Schedule contract or BPA level, but at the order level. Since OLMs are identified and acquired at the order level, the ordering contracting officer (OCO) is responsible for making a fair and reasonable price determination for all OLMs. OLMs are procured under a special ordering procedure that simplifies the process for acquiring supplies and services necessary to support individual task or delivery orders placed against a Schedule contract or BPA. Using this new procedure, ancillary supplies and services not known at the time of the Schedule award may be included and priced at the order level. NOTE: When used in conjunction with a Cooperative Purchasing eligible SIN, this SIN is Cooperative Purchasing Eligible.

1.b. Identification of the lowest priced model number and lowest unit price for that model for each special item number awarded in the contract. This price is the Government price based on a unit of one, exclusive of any quantity/dollar volume, prompt payment, or any other concession affecting price. Those contracts that have unit prices based on the geographic location of the customer, should show the range of the lowest price, and cite the areas to which the prices apply.
