If you are a First Time Entering Student (FTEN) or a first time bursary recipient that has applied to NSFAS for the first time and you are approved for funding, then you need to sign the National Bursary Agreement form (NBA).
STEP 1
You will receive an email notification to sign online.
STEP 2
The email will contain a link to the online portal, click on the link.
STEP 3
You will be required to input your ID number to receive a One Time Pin (OTP).
STEP 4
The OTP will be sent through an SMS, to the cell phone number registered with NSFAS.
STEP 5
Enter the OTP and sign the NBA online. Once you have signed you will see a notification stating that the Terms and Conditions of the agreement have been submitted, which indicates that you have signed successfully.
This deadline for the signing of all NBAs is the 31st of July 2018.
We are aware that you may have changed you cell phone number and that the cell phone number saved at NSFAS may no longer be valid. If you may have changed your cell phone number send the following supporting documents via email to uds@.za:
1. Certified copy of your green barcoded ID or smart card 2. A completed affidavit specifying that you have changed your cell phone number; with the
new and old number listed
