PART 1: Needs

Needs are things that you need in order to survive.

Create a Pic Collage document, with the title Needs in the middle of the page. Surrounding the title you will represent your daily needs--what you need to stay alive (cell phones don't count!). Your ideas should represent your physical, social, safety, and emotional needs.

The example shows 2 of Ms. McKean's needs: nutritious food and sleep. What will you add to your Needs Pic Collage?

PART 2: Wants Wants are things that people want in order to make their lives more comfortable. Create a Pic Collage document, with the title Wants in the middle of the page. Surrounding the title you will represent your wants--what you want in your daily life (cell phones count here!). Your ideas should represent your physical, social, safety, and emotional wants.

This example shows 2 of Ms. McKean's wants: a new car and an iPad. What will you put on your Wants pic Collage?

PART 3: SUBMITTING YOUR ASSIGNMENT You may submit your assignment by submitting both of your Pic Collages to Ms. McKean via Showbie (Social Studies--Needs and Wants PicCollage)
