To practice as an EMS-RN in Nevada, you must hold an active Nevada RN license and Nevada EMS-RN Certificate.

Requirements for EMS-RN Certificate Application Instructions:

To qualify for a Nevada EMS-RN certificate you must:

1. Be currently certified in advanced life support procedures for adult patients, 2. Be currently certified in advanced life support procedures for pediatric patients, 3. Be currently certified in pre-hospital care of the trauma patient,

4. Have completed an orientation course which is at least twelve (12) hours long that has prepared you to function in the field.

If you have not completed fingerprints for the Nevada State Board of Nursing within the previous six (6) months you will be required to submit a new fingerprint card for processing. The Board will mail you a fingerprinting packet once your application has been processed.
