ENTRIES LIMITED to the number of dogs that can be judged during available daylight hours. Entries will close when the limit is reached, if prior to the specified closing time. BITCHES IN SEASON WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RUN.

This Field Trial is Run under the Flexible Format Rules and Procedures of THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB.

IDNR now requires that ALL IL RESIDENTS participating in AKC Field Trials in Illinois as handlers, scouts and/or gunners MUST have a valid hunting license & habitat stamp. Non-residents are exempt and covered by a waiver issued by IDNR for our event.

COURSES AND BIRDS

• All stakes are a single course without a bird field.

• Native and/or released Quail in all stakes except Puppy stakes.

• Shotguns with blank shells will NOT be permitted.

• A blank cartridge will be fired in the puppy stakes if bird contact is made.

• Use of AKC approved tracking collars is permitted but not provided by the club

.

|actual owner whose name I have entered above. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I |

|(we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time |

|of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event |

|and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this |

|event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In |

|consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the |

|opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the|

|AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents |

|or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are|

|necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any |

The LaSalle Brittany Club welcomes you to our 2020 Spring Walking Trial to be held at The Des Plaines Fish & Wildlife Area, near Wilmington, IL. Run under the rules of AKC and recognized by the Field Trial Clubs of IL. Please join us for Dinner/ Happy Hour Saturday Night!

DIRECTIONS:

From the North:

On I-55 about 10 miles south of I-80 intersection, get off at Wilmington Exit (exit 241) Turn right and go about 2 miles on N. River Road. The parking lot is on the right and is where the Site office and trial headquarters are located.

From the South:

Immediately after crossing the Kankakee River, exit at the Wilmington exit (exit 241). Turn right on N. River Road and proceed to the headquarters (about 2 mile). Those with Horses are asked by the DNR to use the new gravel parking area first, and are encouraged to use the pasture area for staking-out their horses

Camping is allowed on the grounds, but there are NO SERVICES and units must be self-contained. An overnight fee of $8.00 is charged and payable to the IDNR. Pit toilets are on the grounds.

All Horse Owners-

• If you use a stall(s) in the barn, you are required to clean it prior to your departure. Everyone with horses is required to clean-up after them and place manure on the designated concrete pads located in each of the parking lots.

• Those on gravel areas, need to place manure on the concrete pads and scatter hay/straw refuse in the grass adjacent to them.

• ANYONE with horses on the paved parking area must remove ALL hay, straw and manure from the pavement, prior to departure each day as required by the DNR and our agreement with them.

• Horses will NOT be provided by the club.
