1967-68 Camaro and Firebird

Why settle for a cheap modern radio that's sort-of-made to fit, or install a hidden audio system when you can have the real thing plus so much more? Our new radios have the look and feel of the original radio, but with the performance you expect from today's technology. Shown above is a 1967-68 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird radio. From the dash every piece you see has been designed to match the original. We paid meticulous attention to detail. For example, the thread and diameter of each shaft bushing is the same as was used originally. The dial fonts are exact duplicates. The dash bezels are die cast. Our Wonderbar radios seek up the dial until they reach the top, then return rapidly to the bottom and start over just like the originals did. The tuning knob and pushbuttons make the dial pointer move the way they're supposed to. No digital displays here! Behind the dash it's a different story. Powerful electronics are built into a chassis that is only 2-1/2 " deep, making some of these radios only 10% of their original size! Does size matter? There is room for electric wipers and/or air conditioning! All radios have RCA inputs for Ipod, MP3 or XM options. Radios with push-buttons have 10 presets (5 AM and 5 FM) When an OEM AM/FM radio wasn't offered, the dial background is subtly printed with the FM dial scale. Inside the case is our proven digital tuner system with a 180 watt RMS power amplifier! Two powerful microprocessors monitor the "human interface" (knobs & pushbuttons) and, through the magic of software, make the radio dial imitate the original while pumping out a sound that is cleaner and much more powerful than the best radio that was available when your car or truck was new! Operate modern 12 volt negative ground accessories from positive ground 6, 8, or 12 volt electrical systems! Our Power Inverters are very small (1-3/4" X 1-3/4" X 1-3/4"), lightweight (only about 9 oz), quiet, and extremely efficient. They use a common ground, so isolation is not necessary.
