NYL Investors Prepares Launch of New Analyst Training Program

NYL Investors is pleased to announce the establishment of a new Investment Analyst Program ("IAP"). The IAP is designed to attract recent college graduates to join the firm for a 3 year training program. The Program is structured to develop an individual's financial skills and build expertise in an asset class while allowing them to contribute in a meaningful way to the success of an investment team. Gail McDermott, Senior Manager Director and Head of Private Placements, has taken a leadership role in establishing the program. McDermott explains, "We are excited about the Analyst Program as we feel it is an effective way to deepen the talent base of the organization while developing potential future leaders." The Program will combine investment analysis responsibilities with classroom training to develop well rounded analysts.

The interview process was recently completed and the in-coming analysts have accepted spots in the inaugural class that will commence in July 2015. Jake Rahiman, Head of Human Resources for NYL Investors, described the process saying, "We were pleased to have such strong interest in the Program. The candidate pool was very impressive which made the selection process difficult." Rahiman shared candidate feedback from the process that identified the development focus, the collegial culture, strong brand, and the financial strength of New York Life as key differentiated factors of the Program.
