Throughout the year you will read newspaper, magazine, journal, or Internet news articles that have a scientific focus. You must follow the template layout when you type up your article. All article write-ups and opinions must be stated in your own words and are written appropriately for high school students.

Directions:

✓ Place this handout in the important documents section of your binder.

✓ Articles must be current – up to one year old.

✓ You may retrieve your articles from magazines, newspapers, or from the links listed below.

✓ Staple a copy of your article with your write-up page.

✓ All write-up pages must be typed.
