Keystone Exam Results

Students who took Spring Keystone Exams will be receiving their scores in the near future.

Congratulations to those students who met graduation requirements by scoring “proficient” or “advanced” on the Algebra I, Biology and/or Literature exams.

Students who did NOT score at those levels have been assigned either a Test Prep Class or Remediation (based on class availability). Students will be attempting the exam again either this winter or spring, depending on when re-teaching sessions were able to fit in their schedule.

TAKE NOTE!

--Yearbooks for 2015/16 are expected to arrive shortly! Watch the school website and the Morrisons Cove Herald for announcements.

-- In an attempt to ensure that ALL students have access to Chromebooks, class sets have been established in core subject classrooms. A number of machines will be available in the library for students to sign out over night and weekends. A limited number of machines will be available to students who need on-going access. Details on criteria for these students will be discussed the opening week of school.

---Check out the improvements in the weight room at your convenience!

--- All Physical Education Classes will be five days a week for one semester for .5 graduation credit.

--- There have been some small changes in interpretation of appropriate piercings under the Dress Code and the appropriate use of electronic devices. These improvements will be discussed at the second day class meetings.

--- All Study Halls have been eliminated from the 2016-17 schedule. All students have been enrolled in 8 classes. Due to the number of electives available, very few schedule changes will be possible.
