MEDIA ROOM

DESIGN In Nobu’s first hotel project, leading the way as the first celebrity-chef branded hotel venture, David Rockwell and his firm Rockwell Group led the overall interior design for the hotel, including all rooms, suites and common areas, as well as the adjoining restaurant and lounge. Incorporating his passion and decades-long history with the Nobu brand, Rockwell created stylish interiors showcasing natural materials fused with Nobu’s signature Japanese elegance, designed to convey an extension of the fun and energetic Nobu lifestyle.

• Raw, natural materials in neutral tones are juxtaposed with hints of terracotta orange, purple and aqua, and unexpected bold graphics representing traditional and contemporary Japanese forms.

• Complementing the design’s organic and Japanese elements, furniture reflects the influence of George Nakashima and natural forms.

• Lantern-like standing lamps provide luminous accents.

• Japanese inspired decorative pillows in vibrant colors adorn couches.

• Live edge wood coffee tables and grass cloth wall coverings reinforce a textured, natural aesthetic.

• A beige and brown toned patterned carpet resembles sand and gestural paintings.

• All rooms have Japanese artwork incorporating traditional prints and expressionist graffiti-like forms selected by Chef Nobu.

• Bathrooms feature teak fittings complemented by stone tile.

CENTURION TOWER The Centurion Tower at Caesars Palace was originally built in 1970. In 2011, the tower underwent a multi-million dollar refurbishment to become Nobu Hotel.

NOBU HOSPITALITY Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper have been the core shareholders since inception for this private company and have taken great pride in the continual strategy of re-investing in the brand ensuring new pre-eminent locations, delivering unique experiences by a team and platform which ensures the brand is both relevant today, but also one that is financially solid.

ICONIC ARTISTS Nobu Hotel features a collection of unique chairs made by renowned wood furniture designer Fumitaka Tomita, who brings out the beauty of wood from the pride of domestic Japanese material.

The hotel also displays artwork from contemporary Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami, who is internationally recognized for his design partnership with Louis Vuitton from 2003 to 2015. While he specializes in fine arts media, he is most famous for creating the multicolored monogram for Louis Vuitton with his signature cheerful color palette on a clean white background, which was revered by a multitude of celebrities. Takashi Murakami’s artwork in Nobu Hotel was curated by Martin Lawrence Galleries inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

TECHNOLOGY In December 2016, Nobu Hotel launched a pilot program for Ivy, a personalized virtual concierge service that guests can communicate with at any time during their stay. Ivy created by Go Moment is an automated, real-time guest texting platform for hotels powered by IBM Watson™ artificial intelligence. Guests are informed about Ivy at check-in and asked for their cell numbers. After check-in, Ivy sends guests a welcome message encouraging them to feel free to text her with any questions or requests. Ivy can recommend and book retail, dining and entertainment experiences for guests, as well as assist with housekeeping and room service requests. This new platform elevates guest experiences through improved efficiency for information and service requests.
