What is USTA Missouri valley JTT?

WHAT IS USTA JR. TEAM TENNIS?

USTA Jr. Team Tennis (JTT) is the largest junior recreational tennis league in the country. This is “Little League” for tennis and offers girls and boys ages 6-18 the opportunity to play on co-ed teams in local leagues that emphasize fun, fitness and friendship. As the players grow in to their skills, the format is adapted to best meet their needs, whether using the QuickStart format or the traditional tennis format.

Jr. Team Tennis (JTT) is a combination of practices and match play with an emphasis on skill development, teamwork and friendly competition. JTT ‘local leagues’ consists of teams competing against other teams of similar age and ability level, using the Jr. National Tennis Rating Program (JNTRP). Leagues are administered through the TennisLink Team Tennis website. Players, teams, match schedules, and results must be entered in TennisLink, the official scoring system. Teams can then choose to participate in the JTT Championship Series with the shot at a JTT National Championship!
