NEW JERSEY CANNABIS REGULATORY COMMISSION OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE & LICENSING DIVISION DIRECTOR

The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) seeks a seasoned individual to serve as Division Director in their Office of Compliance & Licensing. Under the direction of the Office of the Executive Director of the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission, oversees all activities involved in the acceptance, processing, review, and subsequent evaluation of applications for permits and licenses impacting CRC programs and services. Directs the activities of the Office of Compliance, Investigations, and Licensing units for the review, audit, monitoring and evaluation of program performance and services; oversees the implementation of program modifications to comply with the changes which result from new or revised legislation and the completion of criminal background checks. Directs the investigation of complaints regarding permit-holders and licensees; inspecting alternative treatment centers and other entities regulated by the CRC and issuing minor regulatory violations; recommending enforcement actions to the CRC for major regulatory violations. Oversees the collecting of product samples and facilitating the testing of products; regulating third-party laboratories that are licensed by the Commission to provide testing services. May be required to perform other related duties.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is offered as well.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience in a public or private organization involving analysis, development, coordination, planning or administration of multi-faceted programs. Three (3) years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Three (3) years of experience supervising complex investigations and corresponding documents.
