McNair Academic High School

This is a Jersey City public school, ranked as one of the top high schools in the state and has a very competitive admissions process.

Infinity Institute

Like McNair Academic, Infinity Institute is an academically rigorous school, which is part of Jersey City Public Schools. The admissions process for Infinity is the same as McNair.

interested in both McNair and Infinity will have to fill out separate applications, however they can to take the PSAT on either school's test date, as scores are shared between the schools.

Innovation High School This is a magnet high school, which is part of Jersey City Public Schools. The

admission process involves an application, but no test is required.

The school is housed within Snyder HS, but is in a separate wing of the building

and has its own entrance on Kennedy Blvd.

S.T.E.A.M. focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). The

school is affiliated with NJCU and allows students to earn college credits while still in high school.

High Tech High School

Hudson School

This is a private school, and students must pay tuition to attend. However, needs-based financial aid is available.

o Saint Peter's Prep H.S. This is an all-boys Catholic school. University Academy Charter High School

Students who graduate from this high school with at least a 3.2 GPA will be eligible to receive a 4 year full academic scholarship to attend NJCU.
