New Jersey City University- Master of Science in National Security Studies

NJCU's Master of Science degree in National Security Studies is the first comprehensive graduate program of its kind established in the State of New Jersey. The events of 9/11 changed the way Americans look at all aspects of public safety. The need for resilient security professionals who are prepared to deal with every facet of national, homeland, corporate, and information assurance/cyber security has never been greater. Students earning a Master of Science in National Security Studies are prepared to take leadership roles in diverse areas of security. Master degree holders can also pursue terminal doctoral degrees in a variety of fields, including NJCU's Doctorate of Science in Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy.

Graduate students who complete the Cyber Security core and specialization classes earn a Cyber Defense Certificate under the authority of the National Security Agency.
