Each essay is limited to one page. Please put your name at the top.The National Junior Honor Society as a whole, as well as individual members, is expected and encouraged to contribute to the community. Decide upon a “school year” community and/or school service project you would like to see the Seaford NJHS perform. In your essay, we ask that you develop a “plan of execution” which includes a timeframe, recruitment of NJHS member volunteers, funding, transportation, and public relations. Be sure that your project is a community service project and not simply a fundraiser. In addition, explain the benefit to the school and/or community of this project. Please ensure that the project you are proposing is feasible. Scholarship, character, leadership, service and citizenship define the National Junior Honor Society. Why should you be selected to become a member? ................
