Scope – The bibliography covers years 2000 to 2012. It is listed alphabetically by author, then year.

Citations primarily focus on North Atlantic occurrences however other regions are also represented. Bibliography was created using Endnote (desktop X5 ver.) and compiled using imported journal citations from all of the American Meteorological Society journals and Web of Science database journals. Content focuses on atmospheric features of tornadoes, formation, forecasting, shared characteristics with other climate events and social impact. It excludes articles related to agriculture and impact on animal populations.
