introduction

1 Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide a consolidation of testing, reporting and process requirements for noise emissions from locomotives prior to operation on the RailCorp network.

2 Background

Testing, reporting and process requirements have been consolidated from the following requirements.

4 Scope

The requirements have been consolidated into a Pro-forma Report format for use by Rail Operators. The aim is for RailCorp and DECCW to receive consistent and complete reports, thereby expediting the review process for both DECCW and RailCorp.
