Non-fiction Reading

Choice Board

Materials: non-fiction books or articles, paper, pencils

Directions:

1. Choose a non-fiction book or article to read.

2. Before reading, choose and complete one of the “*Before Reading” activities from the choice board.

3. Whisper or silent read the book or article.

4. Choose one of the other activities to complete. If you finish before your group, reread your book or article.

5. Turn and face your group and share your Choice Board activities.

6. Choose another non fiction book or article and start over!
