Static - Posture without motion. Dynamic - Posture during active motion.
Grading
Normal Good Fair Poor
All grades must be qualified with the assistive device being used by the patient. If no device is used, that must be stated.
Static Sitting Balance
Normal Good G-/F+ Fair FairPoor+ Poor
Able to maintain sitting balance against maximal resistance Able to maintain balance against moderate resistance Accepts minimal resistance Able to sit unsupported without balance loss and without UE support Able to maintain static balance with UE support Able to maintain with minimum assistance from individual or chair Unable to maintain static sitting balance. Requires moderate/maximum support from another individual or chair
