MRA BRAIN

Clinical profile:-

• Multiplanar multiecho MR of the brain was performed. 3D and 2D TOF angiogram images were obtained through intracranial and extracranial arteries.

• No space occupying lesion or focal/diffuse area of signal abnormality is detected in the cerebral parenchyma.

• There is no acute infarct.

• Brainstem and cerebellum appear normal.

The ventricles, basal cisterns and cerebral sulci are normal for age.

• MR Angiography of Neck vessels:

• The origins of the arch vessels are normal.

• Origins and cervical portions of bilateral internal carotid arteries are well seen and appear normal. Origins and cervical portions of bilateral vertebral arteries are normal.

• MR Angiography of COW:

The anterior, middle cerebral arteries and intracranial internal carotid arteries do not reveal any significant narrowing. The vertebral, basilar and posterior cerebral arteries do not reveal any significant narrowing.
