Jean Conservation Camp Inmate Walks Away

from Las Vegas State Tree Nursery

The Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) reports that at approximately 11:00 AM, July 11, 2019, a minimum security female inmate walked away from the Las Vegas State Tree Nursery at Floyd Lamb Park, located just north of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Inmate Carrie Crisp, #1203873, a 30-year old female arrived at NDOC from Clark County on August 16, 2018. She was transferred to Jean Conservation Camp and was serving 12 – 36 months for Attempted Grand Larceny. The inmate was last seen wearing a blue button down shirt with undershirt, blue pants, black boots, and an orange Nevada Division of Forestry bandanna.

Crisp is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She has a star tattoo on her right hand, cupcake tattoo on her right foot, music notes tattooed on the back of her neck, a butterfly tattoo on her right breast, ROBERT tattooed on her stomach, and a lion tattooed on her right leg. She has both ears pierced.

A re-take warrant has been issued. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carrie Crisp should immediately contact 911 or their local law enforcement agency.

NDOC partners with the Nevada Division of Forestry to run nine Conservation Camps in the state. The camps are for minimum security inmates who are scheduled to be released within two years. Inmates in the camps are trained to fight wildland fires and are deployed to handle weed abatement, highway clean-up and other jobs when in the off season.
