TRAFFIC SCHOOL INFORMATION

Demerit points are reported to the DMV fourteen days after the disposition of a case. You may attend traffic school to prevent points being reported to the DMV. You must present your certificate of completion of a traffic school to the court within fourteen days after paying your new citation online or entering a plea in person at the court. All moving violations that are four or fewer points will be amended to a parking citation with the completion of a Level 1 Nevada Traffic School. Any moving violation worth five or more points will be amended to a parking citation with the completion of a Level 2 Nevada Traffic School. The point value of most moving violations may be checked on the Nevada DMV's website .

Completion certificates may be submitted to the court in person, faxed to 7026332483 or emailed to Courtprograms@.

The North Las Vegas Municipal Court offers the following classes:

Level 1 5 hours $35 cash only English:Tuesdays 8am1pm Spanish: Wednesdays 8am1pm

Level 2 8 hours $75 cash only English: Mondays 8am4pm Spanish: Thursdays 8am4pm

There are no appointments necessary. Classes begin promptly. Customers wishing to attend traffic school with the court must be present a minimum of 10 minutes prior to the start of class to pay and register for the class.
