Crime Research Project

Crime Research Project

You will research and choose a famous crime from history. You will put together a power point over the chosen crime. It must be submitted to Mrs. Harrison by the start of class on the due date to use for presentations, submit through Edmodo. You need to find the following information and include it in the presentation (Do not use google docs):

• What the time frame was?

• Where it happened

• What was the crime or crimes?

• Who investigated it?

• The people involved?

• Was it solved?

• Was anyone convicted?

• Is the case open or closed?

• Pertinent details to help your classmates understand the crime.

• What made this crime famous?

Below are sites to help you get started with your research. The last slide of your power point must include sited sources. You can not claim someone else’s work as your own. One source is not research, you must have checked your information multiple places. This is a major grade. No two people may research the same crime. When you choose your crime, you must sign up for it on the class list. Make sure it has not already been chosen by someone else in your class period.
