NRA BASIC PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME

THIS IS NOT A BASIC SHOOTING COURSE, IT REQUIRES ADVANCED SHOOTING SKILLS: This NINE TO FOURTEEN HOUR course is intended for experienced pistol shooters, with or without a Concealed Handgun License. Students will learn to present a handgun from concealment and shoot targets in the center of mass. This requires students to have already mastered safe gun handling and basic marksmanship skills. Students are introduced to the knowledge, skills and attitude involved in safely, responsibly and effectively employing a concealed handgun for self-defense. The student must learn and practice many diverse shooting skills in order to respond quickly and appropriately to a broad range of threats he or she may encounter outside the home.

BRING: Handgun and strong side hip holster, extra magazine or speedloader with pouch, concealment clothing, handgun owner’s manual, eye and ear protection, non-personal protection (range) ammo; 100 cartridges (basic) or 206 for both.

WHEN: April 23-24, 2018. START TIME 8:00 am Both Days.

COST: Basic course (first day only) 9 hours; $155.00. Complete course (14 hours) $255.00
