New Jersey Lottery Green Ball Double Draw Promotion Offers Pick-4 Players Two Chances to Win

The Double Draw Promotion Will Be Offered Twice a Day for the Pick-4 Game

TRENTON, N.J. (Aug. 29, 2014) - New Jersey Lottery Pick-4 game players will have an exciting opportunity for a second chance to win with one ticket during the Green Ball Double Draw promotion. The new Pick-4 promotion will run from Sept. 1 through Sept. 14. During the promotional period, there will be an additional drawing held for both the midday and evening Pick-4 draws. New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, Carole Hedinger, said, "This is first time we are offering the Green Ball Double Draw promotion for the Pick-4 game. In addition, we've doubled the opportunity for Lottery fans to play and win by including the midday draw in addition to the evening draw."

The "Green Ball" promotion is certain to increase prizes and here is how it works:

? Each midday and evening during the promotion, after the regular Pick-4 drawing is held, a subsequent drawing will be conducted from a separate machine that contains nine white balls and one green ball.

? If the green ball is drawn, a second set of Pick-4 numbers will be drawn and players will have a second bonus chance to win from the same Pick-4 wager.

? If a white ball is drawn, it will be removed, and at the next scheduled drawing, either midday or evening, another draw will be held from the remaining white balls and green ball. A white ball will be removed each draw until the green ball is selected. Whenever the green ball is drawn, an additional Pick-4 drawing will be held providing players another set of winning numbers for each Pick-4 ticket purchased. Then, all nine balls are replaced for the next scheduled midday or evening Pick-4 drawing.
