Starring no one you’ve ever heard of – it portrayed six horny young guys and girls who were all in D.C. related law professions that hung out at the titular yuppie bar in Georgetown in between shootings, career scheming and pick-up football games. The sample that shapes the chorus of this 2003 hit single derives from a song that was co-written by Lionel Richie and initially released on the self-titled debut album of the future wife of Grant Hill. Some sources add a word to the front of the title, giving it the same.name with an Atlanta Rhythm Section song with the mondegreen “there was doodoo in the pipes” for “there was voodoo in the vibes.” In the chorus, the female vocalist curs "I really like what you've done to me, I can't really explain it." This is fitting since the version of the song on Street Dreams features Ashanti on the chorus instead of the original chorus vocalist, Tamia. Taking time away from her New Mexico-based herbal remedies business, she’s set to play the supporting role of “Mother” in the 2004 film Bereft – which would be her first acting gig since playing Ethel Gumm in 2001’s acclaimed TV biopic My Life with Judy Garland, Me and My Shadows. Born in 1942, she first landed on screen in 1966’s Hot Rod Hullabaloo and had visible roles in Dinner at Eight, Drop Dead Fred and I Love Trouble – but nothing matched her shining role as divorced mother Paula McFadden in a 1977 Oscar Favorite written by her then-husband. One of the emergent ways to succeed in this game was known as the “Blob Technique” where players did not shoot mushrooms on one side of the screen so that the game’s AI would never trigger fleas to drop and release more mushrooms -- thus making the task of dispatching the titular antagonist easier.
